When I began my small business, , in 2011, I didn't know what to expect. I just knew that I wanted to try to make it as an artist drawing all the neighborhood signs in San Diego, and since finding a job was a bit difficult at the time, I thought this was my chance to do it. Signs of San Diego
I had always liked taking photos, ever since I was a little kid with a manual wind up Kodak film camera snapping shots at Sea World, Disneyland and the Wild Animal Park. I would experiment with the flash, angle, and lighting and see how they turned out. The anticipation was always high because back then you had to wait until the film was out, then you had to process the photos and wait to pick them up. Most weren't that great, but I enjoyed the process.
Growing up, I fooled around with digital photography, and eventually found myself taking more and more photos. Since my business was pointing me in the direction to take photos to draw off of, I figured why not try to take some really nice shots and see if people wanted to buy them. Nearly four years later, I have branched my brand out to portrait photography to compliment the scenic shots I've been taking and selling with my business.
Shutterhubb is my new attempt to showcase quality portrait photography for the everyday person or family. My rates are affordable and I am very fun to work with. Having just started a family of my own this year (my wife - Nicole, and son - Brody), I have found myself really honing in of the craft of portrait photography.
I hope you get an opportunity to explore this site and if any questions should arise, please don't hesitate to send me an email, give me a call, or book a consultation. I'd love to hear what services you'd like to discuss with me.
Thanks so much!
